Secretary, Grant Writer

Audrey moved to Marquette from Flint, MI in 2017 to attend NMU where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education. Audrey has worked on several rural health initiatives UP-wide and in the Marquette community, including providing Community Health Worker training, and has experience working with diverse populations to address important health and social issues.

Audrey is very passionate about holistic healing as a supplement to modern medicine, and believes that everyone should have the tools to take their wellness into their own hands.

In her free time she enjoys spending time outside, creating art, and reading.

Caden believes that public health can be improved by making the information and resources more accessible through communal activities and teamwork. There is an abundance of regional health & wellness specialists ready to share their knowledge and practices in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. So, it only made sense to him to gather others and develop educational programming that showcases these specialists and offers the community members opportunities to learn and engage with them.

"I am disappointed, like many, by the system we are practically forced to operate in. I believe that we live in the age of information and accessibility - and human health & well-being should sit at the front of that line. I want to work with like-minded individuals to develop a new system for investing in individual health on a large scale. We need a new system, one that connects, heals and evolves the communities it supports. There's too much greed in this world, and there are many of us that want share our knowledge and abilities in order to create a more equitable world.”

In his spare time, Caden is up to an abundance of activities! From researching a new-found interest or playing throughout Marquette, he stays occupied and involved. He enjoys mountain biking, foraging, soccer, billiards, stained glass and reading!

In addition to his work at Superior Healing Initiative, he is one of the two co-founders and Chief Executive Officer of Syncurrent Inc. A for-profit business that works with underserved communities in providing software solutions to economic development needs. Dhruv has a passion for connecting people to resources and guidance that improve quality of life.

Dhruv’s background is in Organizational Science, he’s done research in applicational concepts in the field, such as ‘Organizational Design’ and ‘Organizational Ecology’. Additionally, Dhruv has experience from his previous company, HIVE, a michigan-upper peninsula based economic development organization in assisting portfolio companies in growth and scale. Outside of his professional life he has passions in powerliftings, strongmanUSA and more recently Muay Thai.
